Utility Bowl

I had been away from the lathe due to work pressure and on this day had the urge to just turn something quickly. Grabbed the first blank on my shelf and as ever with this craft, found myself in awe of the magic of wood. Had not turned this species before and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is. Decided to keep the tenon as a little foot and it adds to the elegance of the shape. Finished with pure beeswax which of course makes it food safe but it also smells amazing.
