Centre Piece

This piece, originally crafted as a backup Christmas gift, unexpectedly found favour with my wife. The distinctive colour immediately identifies the species as Padauk. In a counter-intuitive choice for the candle’s colour, I decided that a rich red and deep black would complement each other beautifully. This decision added an unexpected depth to the piece, further enhancing its visual appeal.
